JOSE GALINDO​

Moral Education Online Teacher


Jose Galindo is a junior at Regis High School. Jose enjoys playing piano, reading and listening to music. He also plays ultimate frisbee for Regis.

Bible & Faith Online Teacher


Chris Kim is a senior at Regis High School. His experience as a volunteer has been enlightening, and he is fortunate to have been able to pass some of his religious knowledge to facilitate discussions with students.

OUR REGIS HIGH School VOLUNTEERS

SINCE 2020 STUDENTS AT REGIS HIGH SCHOOL HAVE PLAYED AN INTEGRAL PART IN OUR DIGITAL SYLLABUS.  THESE STUDENTS COMPLEMENT OUR CHILDREN'S LEARNING, AS WELL AS PROVIDE A CHANNEL FOR COMMUNICATION AND DIALOG DURING THE HOURS WHEN THERE ARE NOT SUFFICIENT EDUCATORS TO TEACH IN PERSON AT OUR LEARNING CENTRE. WE CURRENTLY HAVE AROUND 35 VOLUNTEERS FROM REGIS HIGH SCHOOL AND SOME OF THEM ARE LISTED HERE. COME MEET THEM!

DAVID SOLANO

Online Teacher


David Solano is a junior at Regis High School. David enjoys acting and singing in musicals, public speaking, and videography. In class, he creates an engaging, rewarding experience for his students so that they grow in their love for learning.

Evan McElfresh is a junior at Regis High School with a firm belief in the power of a Catholic education. He enjoys reading, spending time with his friends, and walking around New York City.

ROBERT TAVERNI

Online Teacher


Robert Taverni is a senior at Regis High School. He has recently started teaching at Zotung after learning about it from a friend. He enjoys hanging out with friends, playing video games, and reading in his free time.

LEONARDO LOBACCARO

English Online Teacher


Leo Lobaccaro is a recent graduate of Regis High School. He enjoys cooking, playing soccer, and spending time with his family. He has been teaching since May of 2021 and has taught English, Moral Education, and Math to P2 and P6.

Toni Lobaccaro is a recent graduate of Regis High School. He likes football, cooking, and Math. He's been an online volunteer since May of 2021 and has taught Grammar and Math to P3 and P5.

MICHAEL CAMERON

English Online Teacher / Lead Coordinator


Michael Cameron is a senior at Regis High School. As a Catholic, his philosophy is that everyone deserves an education regardless of financial or societal status. He enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and teaching. He began volunteering for Zotung in July 2022, and now serves as the lead coordinator for Regis volunteers. 


"Every week, I see the students improve their academic skills, and I see the students open up socially as they continually participate more often. It has been a joy to watch." 

LUCA DALVEN

Online Teacher


Luca is a junior at Regis High School. He has been volunteering for a year now. He believes strongly in Zotung’s social and religious mission, and is enthusiastic to keep giving back to this amazing community.

Leo is a junior at Regis High School. He began volunteering in the fall of 2022 and has thoroughly enjoyed sharing valuable lessons with his students. In his free time, Leo likes to watch and play soccer, bike, and read.

Peter Grande is a junior at Regis High School. He began volunteering with Zotung because he loved the opportunity to form connections with students on the other side of the globe. He enjoys reading, debate, hiking, and playing the piano.

Leo Lee is a junior at Regis High School. He started as an online volunteer in December of 2022. Leo enjoys playing tennis, the French Horn, and watching movies in his free time.

Online Teacher / Former Lead Coordinator


Daniel Ngiam is a recent graduate of Regis High School. He has been with Zotung since 2016 and played an important role in creating our virtual learning system. In class, Daniel loves sharing his passion for art with his students

Jonathan Hartanto is a recent graduate of Regis High School and has been with Zotung since April 2021. He loves to read stories and chat with the students. In his spare time, he likes to read the news, play the piano, and listen to jazz music.
