10th Station - Jesus Is Stripped Off His Garments

Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.

Reader
Consider how Jesus was violently stripped of His clothes by His executioners. The inner garments adhered to his lacerated flesh and the soldiers tore them off so roughly that the skin came with them. Have pity for your Savior so cruelly treated and tell Him. (kneel)

Reflection
To be without clothes in front of everyone is a humiliating thing. Jesus wasn’t ashamed because he knew his Father in heaven loved him and everyone who was there.

Are there times when we feel ashamed or don’t feel worthy enough?. 

Prayer : All
Jesus,make me know how much you and the Father love me, so I will never be ashamed of myself or feel unworthy.
