Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.

Consider Jesus, thrown down upon the cross, He stretched out His arms and offered to His eternal Father the sacrifice of His life for our salvation. They nailed His hands and feet, and then, raising the cross, left Him to die in anguish

Reflection
The soldiers drove nails through Jesus’ hands and feet. They lifted up the cross and put it in place. Jesus was in a lot of pain.

Our world today is filled with pain. The pain of wars and persecutions. The pain of infidelity and family break-ups. The pain of natural disasters and loss. The list is endless.

What can each of us do in our small ways to eliviate pain from someone we know?

Prayer : All
Jesus, many people suffer pain from being sick, hungry, lonely poor and separated because of war, natural disasters and evil of Man's heart..Help us to bring comfort whenever the opportunity arises
